AM 2 PM Electrical miniature substations can be customized with various types of Ring Main Units (RMUs), including oil, air, vacuum, or SF₆ options. Our substations are designed to accommodate any RMU configuration seamlessly. We offer a diverse range of transformers, from 315kVA to 1600kVA, with the option to specify oil-fitted transformers suitable.

Off-load tap switches can be specified to comply with SANS, IEC, or NRS standards. Our voltage offerings range from 6.6kV to 88kV, with custom-built substations available up to 2MVA, ensuring all components are tailored to meet specific requirements.

Construction Characteristics

AM 2 PM Electrical substations boast high-quality, folded sheet metal housings that are fully customizable and manufactured. These housings are available in mild steel or 3CR12, ideal for coastal environments.

Operation & Training

Our miniature substations are designed for user-friendly operation, featuring easy access through a front door to the compartments housing MV panels, LV panels, and control devices. Each transformer is equipped with its own door to facilitate easy removal and maintenance.
